Problem: Founders wanted to understand the investment requirements for the business.
Solution: tandem forecasted the profit & loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement for the business, established key assumptions, which helped identify the capital required to take the company through to cash flow positive.

Problem: Founders wanted to get an investor onboard.

Ignite, a premier fitness and wellness company based in Dubai.

Problem: Entrepreneur was required to develop a strategy document and a thorough set of financial projections for the business to prospective investors.

Berrydrops, a startup ecommerce shopping platform for baby gifts.

CherryOnTop, a boutique event management and design company operating in the Middle East region.

The Question Company, an "ask anything" mobile messaging service based in Dubai.

Problem: The founder was looking for seed capital to grow and expand their business.
Solution: tandem developed financial projections, an information memorandum and a structure for investment into the business. This was circulated to potential investors sourced by tandem and the founder. In addition, we helped develop a growth strategy for the business and acted as an advisor on all financial, strategic and operational issues.

Serai Capital, a newly formed investment bank offering capital investment, asset management and brokerage services in Syria.

Problem: The founder was required to submit a full-fledged business plan with financial forecasts.
Solution: tandem conducted market research on Syria and performed a competitor analysis. We also developed a projected profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement for the business.

BE GLOBE
(www.beglobe.mobi), have developed a patented and unique solution to transmit rich content and advertising to mobiles for free.


Problem: Founders were looking for a partner to support them in developing appropriate forecasts, negotiating terms with key stakeholders and analyzing new markets for expansion.

Bil Arabi (www.bilarabi.ae), is a low-volume jewelry concept. The business specializes in women’s jewelry made from precious metals in Arabic letters.

Problem:Entrepreneur was looking to expand the business and need to understand the financial implications involved.
Solution: tandem developed a financial model in order to evaluate the potential of setting up a production unit and retail distribution network across the region.


Peekaboo
(www.peekaboo.ae) is a chain of children’s “edutainment” centers based in Dubai malls. The business charges an hourly rate to look after infants while the parents shop.


Problem: Founders were looking to exit the business.
Solution: tandem developed an investment memorandum for the purpose of a full shareholder exit.

Chez Toi (www.cheztoibeauty.com) is an at-home beauty services company.

Problem: The company’s logistical setup did not allow it to fully utilise it resources and its pricing strategy did not reflect its premium offering.
Solution: tandem is currently working with Chez Toi to maximize the number of customers it could serve through a reengineered journey plan. Competitor pricing research allowed the company to adjust its market position. tandem is also evaluating several ownership and funding strategies for the shareholders.


Project Zen
was a beach club project in Dubai encompassing leisure and food and beverage outlets.


Problem: Investors wanted to understand the financial viability of opening a leisure outlet on a beachfront in Dubai.
Solution: tandem developed a financial model in order to evaluate the potential of the business and determine the funding required.


Project Noor
was a plan to develop a chain of retail lighting stores in KSA.


Problem: Client wanted to analyse the lighting industry in order to develop an optimal market entry strategy for a new lighting business.
Solution: tandem carried out extensive product, market and industry research (primary and secondary) in order to develop the strategy and market positioning of the business.

Project Valet was a project for a valet parking and carwash business in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

Problem: Entrepreneur was required to present a business plan to the mall management in order to secure a long term lease for the business in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Solution: tandem helped develop a business plan including financials that successfully secured a 5 year lease for the client in 2 malls.
